In response to the current crisis in East Africa, Episcopal Relief & Development will be working through its network of Anglican and Episcopal partners to support the humanitarian work of local organizations in Kenya. The organization’s support will be used to provide food aid, water and livestock feed to communities in drought-stricken regions of the country. Maize for distribution will be purchased by the organization’s Kenyan partners from farmers in the central and southern regions of the country. The program will also support community efforts to prepare the land for the next rainy season.
