Lutheran World Relief is working with its partner, the Lutheran World Federation (LWF), to respond to needs in Kenya and Ethiopia. In Kenya, LWR and LWF are expanding their work in the Dadaab camps to ensure the reception of new arrivals as well as the provision of water in and around the camps, baby care items and psycho-social support to camp residents. In Ethiopia, LWR and LWF are distributing food in drought-affected communities, providing supplementary nutrition for young children and new mothers, training farmers to improve natural resource management and agriculture and providing farm tools to begin recovery efforts.
