Through our Kenya Country Office team and through our global alliances and partnerships, MAP is mobilizing a comprehensive response to the growing famine crisis in the Horn of Africa. First, MAP is dispatching Interagency Emergency Health Kits to support the medical relief response of MAP partner International Medical Corps in Somalia and Kenya. Second, MAP Kenya is linking up with relief response partners to determine where we can best support ongoing efforts with medical relief. Lastly, we are contributing non-food relief support including water-trucking, rehabilitation of water catchments, nutritional therapeutic feeding, and more as part of the Joint Disaster Management Operation with the Integral Alliance (a global Alliance of Christian relief and development organizations).
