PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity in Kenya to collect and use surveillance data and manage national HIV/AIDS projects, by expanding HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infection (STI) and tuberculosis (TB) surveillance projects and by strengthening laboratory support for surveillance, diagnosis, treatment, disease monitoring, and HIV screening for blood safety.

ACTIVITIES

Build the capacity of health workers on M&E (Monitoring & Evaluation), data management, and analytical and reporting skills, as well as data use for decision making.

Support the reviewing, revising, and implementation of a simplified M&E framework and reporting tools, policies and standard operating procedures.

Strengthen M&E coordination and collaboration at national, provincial and district levels.

Working with partners to improve the quality of HIV care data through training and use of simplified data collection and analysis tools.
